Overview

Gosling – Quad Switchboards was engaged by returning client Total Electrical & Data to deliver custom switchboard solutions for the prestigious Aureus residential development in Skennars Head. Located just minutes from Lennox Head, the beachfront community demanded high-quality, durable electrical infrastructure to match its premium design standards.

Our team designed, fabricated, assembled, and tested four custom switchboards – including one mains switchboard with a built-in MP1 and three stand-alone meter panel boards (MP-2, MP-3, MP-4. Each was constructed from marine-grade aluminum and powder-coated in Surf Mist to meet the architect’s exact specifications, ensuring durability and aesthetic integration with the coastal environment.

Challenges

Despite the technical complexity of delivering multiple custom switchboards to strict architectural requirements, the Quad Switchboards team’s integrated design and manufacturing process ensured seamless delivery. Our in-house capabilities allowed us to manage the entire project lifecycle, eliminating potential delays from third-party suppliers.

Outcome

On-time, on-spec delivery: All switchboards were completed to the agreed design and specifications within the project timeline.

Built for performance: The specious design made cable runs and terminations easier, saving the on-site electrical team time during installation

Durable coastal finish: Marine-grade aluminum and Surf Mist powder coating ensure long-term performance in a coastal environment.
