Yamba Ngaru Village
Details
Project name: Yamba Ngaru Village
Client: Birrigan Gargle Local Aboriginal Land Council
Location: Yamba
Industry sector: Residential Development
Overview
Installation of electrical reticulation and NBN pit and pipe infrastructure for 37 residential lots.
Gosling was engaged to deliver a comprehensive low voltage upgrade, focused on enhancing the site’s electrical infrastructure to meet current and future demands. The project included the supply and installation of four 400-amp three-phase vertical strip fuse holders and associated fuses, as well as four low voltage cable terminations.
Our team allowed for and implemented a standard earthing system in accordance with Essential Energy’s specifications. Where unforeseen ground conditions may have impacted compliance, provisions were made for further assessment and costing.
To ensure safe and compliant delivery, the project scope also included:
- Coordination of a scheduled power outage and commissioning, with Gosling working closely with Essential Energy to ensure seamless integration with the electricity network.
- Traffic control planning and implementation, with coordination across relevant local Councils and Roads and Maritime Services;
- Site demarcation and fencing to secure work zones;
- Comprehensive inductions for staff and equipment, including administrative support;
All works were completed within standard business hours, with additional provisions in place for any required after-hours support.
Outcome
This project reflects Gosling Group’s capability in managing technically complex installations while ensuring compliance, safety, and minimal disruption to surrounding infrastructure.
