Engaging a Level 3 Accredited Service Provider(ASP) early in your project is essential for a smooth process. Early engagement is crucial where strict timeframes need to be met, as the Level 3 design process can take a considerable long period due to utility and third party engagements. Early concept development helps identify issues and supports your development application. By involving our team from the start, we address challenges upfront, keeping your design and construction schedules on track. Our team are here for helpful and supportive guidance throughout your project.
How it works?
- Gosling Coffs Harbour provides a fee proposal for the design
- Client engages Gosling
- Scope Essential Energy turn arounds and timeframes
- Design package issued by Essential Energy allowing the design to progress
- Section 45 submission to council and notification to adjacent landowners (if required)
- Design team visits site to complete survey, earth testing and EIA data collection (if required)
- Documentation collection, attain Before You Dig Australia (BYDA) plans and information, Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) searches
- Completion of concept design for client approval
- Submission of design to Essential Energy for certification
- Essential Energy approve and issue certified drawings for construction
Environmental Impact Statement EIA
At Gosling we conduct comprehensive Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs) for every project. These assessments play a crucial role in considering environmental factors from design to construction. Our EIAs cover various aspects, including the protection of threatened flora and fauna, management of contaminated soils, preservation of areas with heritage or cultural significance, considerations of native title, and evaluation of impacts on crown land.
As part of our commitment to providing a complete design package, we include the EIA at no additional cost as it is a requirement for Essential Energy.
